User-agent is not modifying in android with $http service and window.navigator.userAgent
I have created a http service in angularjs and trying to modify the user-agent header but it is showing the same original value in debugger(Charles) for android, for IOS its successfully modifying.
var req =
method: 'POST',
url: 'http://example.com',
headers:
'user-agent': 'mobile'
,
data: test: 'test'
$http(req).then(function()..., function()...);
I have also tried to modify user agent by window.navigator.userAgent property using:
Object.defineProperty(window.navigator, 'userAgent',
value: 'mobile'+window.navigator.userAgent,
configurable: true
);
But in both the ways it is not modifying and showing the same value: "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.1.1; Google Build/NMF26Q; wv) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Chrome/52.0.2743.100 Mobile Safari/537.36/Worklight/7.0.0.0"
Is modifying User-Agent header is not supported for android?
android angularjs http-headers user-agent
