up vote 0 down vote favorite The entity i'm using has no incremental column, just has a string column that is generated and assigned UUID values @PrimaryKey var id: String = UUID.randomUUID().toString(), var something: Double = 0.0 For some reason, i just need list the table reversely, but there is no any incremental column But sqlite tables has a default rowid column gets increased automatically. So then i just tried below query, but it didn't recognize rowid @Query("SELECT * FROM Things ORDER BY rowid DESC") fun getThings(): LiveData<MutableList<Something>> Gives ordering term expected, got rowid Any hint or solution ? android android-room share | improve this question asked Nov 12 at 1:37 blackkara 2,427 4 13 38 1 You may want to add your use case to this issue: issuetracker.google.com/issues/118053117 – Uli Nov 12 at 3:34 add a comment  |  up vote 0 down vote favorite The entity
