ok I am getting this error:
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapExcel
Object cannot be cast from DBNULL to other types.
here is the line:
/// CodeRemarks
[System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapDocumentMethodAttribute
("http://tempuri.org/IService1/school_picker",
RequestNamespace="http://tempuri.org/",
ResponseNamespace="http://tempuri.org/",
Use=System.Web.Services.Description.SoapBindingUse.Literal,
ParameterStyle=System.Web.Services.Protocols.
SoapParameterStyle.Wrapped)]
[return: System.Xml.Serialization.XmlArrayAttribute(IsNullable=true)]
[return:
System.Xml.Serialization.XmlArrayItemAttribute
(Namespace="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/Bailey_Service")]
public Schedule school_picker(int i)
object results = this.Invoke("school_picker", new object
i
);
return ((Schedule)(results[0]));
the really weird thing, is that this work like 6 times out 8.
why does it not work all of the time
what is this error even saying ?
also I check and
this code :
public override void PrepareForSegue(UIStoryboardSegue segue, NSObject sender)
if (segue.Identifier == "taskcell")
// set in Storyboard
Service1 client = new Service1();
var source = TableView.Source as ScheduleTableViewSource;
int rool = TableView.IndexPathForSelectedRow.Row;
schools =
client.school_picker(TableView.IndexPathForSelectedRow.Row);
var navctlr = segue.DestinationViewController as NextMatchView;
if (navctlr != null)
navctlr.SetTask(schools); // to be defined on the TaskDetailViewController
it dies at schools = client.school_picker(TableView.IndexPathForSelectedRow.Row); line
and Row is never null...
I put a break point before had it is was not NULL
I am using WCF and coding in C# in Visual studio Community 2017 for Mac
Also, I have used another app to connect to this same service and I do not have this problem.
so have has to be something with this app.
