How can we verify HTML5 validation message text using selenium ide (record and play)
I am new in selenium and I am trying to verify the validation message for required field in selenium IDE. Can anyone help please?

There are two good methods:
The classic way is to use verify element present, if needed combined with wait for visible. The challenge here is to find the right CSS selector or XPath to identify the validation message.
if you are using the Kantu Selenium IDE, the second option is to use the visual verify command. Here you tell the IDE to look for an image of the dialog:
Here "vm1.jpg" is the image of your validation dialog.
