wordpress woocommerce url parameters shop, single product and add to cart

I am making use of woocommerce as my shopping cart.
I also have a product filter with WOOF and can filter the products with url parameters in the shop page. ie /product-view/?swoof=1&pa_search_colours=FFDBB8
I want to add the parameters to the title and image on the shop page in order to pull through to the single view products page and also make use of these parameters as additional meta data in the add to cart page - this additional information need to be visible on the order line items as well in the back end.
Where does one begin to make these changes ?
