For example I have two models with 1:N
const Product = db.define("product",
id:
type: Sequelize.INTEGER,
primaryKey: true,
autoIncrement: true
,
name:
type: Sequelize.STRING
);
const Category = db.define("category",
id:
type: Sequelize.INTEGER,
primaryKey: true,
autoIncrement: true
,
name:
type: Sequelize.STRING
);
Product.Category = Product.belongsTo(Category);
Category.Product = Category.hasMany(Product);
If I want create category and products together I do:
await Category.create(
name: "test-category-2",
products: [ name: "p1" , name: "p2" ]
,
include: [Product]
);
How can I create instance with existing associations, for example I have products and want to add/update category(categoryId) relation with new category, something like this:
const category = await Category.create(
name: "test-category-1",
products: [products[0].id, products[1].id] // add/update categoryId in this products
,
);
It must create new category and update existing products categoryId, but in code above it try to create products like in first example
javascript node.js sequelize.js
