Openlayers - Resolution range for each tileLayer zoom level

0

I'm creating a scale line with marks, where should be visible each level range by resolution.
So. Defined resolutions are something like 'perfect middle'. But view are changing a zoom level between those resolutions. So maybe somebody know, how to calculate it?

  • It's not documented anywhere but OpenLayers always seems to choose the tile grid resolution closest to the view resolution, and at the exact midway point will choose the lower tile grid resolution. Calling source.getTileGrid().getZForResolution(view.getResolution()); will give the tile zoom level and source.getTileGrid().getResolution(source.getTileGrid().getZForResolution(view.getResolution())); the original resolution of the tiles at that level. Those calls will not be reliable if you are reprojecting a layer.
