Parse mixed XML and CDATA in PHP

How to parse this mixed XML?



<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<response errorcode="0" errormessage="">
 <categories>
 <category>
 <id>33</id>
 <title><![CDATA[Audio HIFI]]></title>
 </category>
 <category>
 <id>34</id>
 <title><![CDATA[Audio HI End]]></title>
 </category>
 <category>
 <id>35</id>
 <title><![CDATA[Receivers]]></title>
 </category>
</categories>


I have tried using simplexml_load_string but it does not parse CDATA



$xml it is my XML content...
I solved it just removing CDATA atributes



$xml = str_replace('<![CDATA[', '', $xml);
 $xml = str_replace(']]>', '', $xml);
 $xmlData = simplexml_load_string($xml);
