Learning WPF/MVVM using Sams 24-hours WPF but having some issues with getting my code to work.

Here is what I got have so far:
Note: MainWindow1 - name changed to "Shell"

I added a folder in my project named "UserControls"

I created two user controls named Searchbar and SideBar.

I tried using the toolbox to drop my controls on the designer and the XAML code updated with:

<UserControls:Sidebar/>

Have tried various methods to get it working but my lack of knowlege in WPF is getting the best of me! Any idea what I am doing wrong?
