How can I serve .json files from a map in an Angular 2 application by the url path?

Multi tool use
I have a couple of .json files in a map that I need to be accessible by a certain path in my Angular 2 app.
Example of a URL refering to a .json file:
http://localhost:4000/mail-templates/mail-a.json
How do I ensure the path refers to these .json files?
Thanks.
