How do I check if a Port is available using installscript?
I want to use installscript and the custom action to implement a way to check if a TCP port is available. If it is available then I also want to create a port for that localport.
Number nFileHandle;
String svLine,szProgram,szCmdLine;
begin
szProgram = "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe";
szCmdLine = " /c \GRR\netstat.bat";
OpenFileMode(FILE_MODE_NORMAL);
OpenFile(nFileHandle, "C:\GRR", "output.txt");
if(GetLine(nFileHandle, svLine) < 0)
szProgram = "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe";
szCmdLine = " /c \GRR\newport.bat";
This my command I run within the "netstat.bat"
netstat -np TCP | find "8541" > output.txt
Is it possible to clean the .txt file when I have a new patch to release?
windows-installer installscript
