Losing lines (on “html.parser”) and format while saving the whole HTML content with BeautifulSoup

Using beautifulsoup, I have been trying to save all the content of a HTML to a .txt file. However, when I try using the couple ideas that I found online, I keep loosing some data and also the output is comming differently.
The file that I wanna save contains only text (music related content, which make things a little bit more complicated). This is the link of what I wanna save:
http://kern.humdrum.org/cgi-bin/ksdata?l=users/craig/classical/beethoven/piano/sonata&file=sonata01-1.krn&f=kern
Note that I already loose this lines on the step:
soup2 = bs4.BeautifulSoup(res2.text,"html.parser")
My code:
import bs4 , requests
res = requests.get("http://kern.ccarh.org/cgi-bin/ksdata?location=users/craig/classical/beethoven/piano/sonata&file=sonata01-1.krn&format=info")
soup = bs4.BeautifulSoup(res.text,"html.parser")
for link in soup.select('[href]'):
if (".krn" in link.getText()):
print(link.getText(),"-", link['href'])
res2 = requests.get(link['href'])
soup2 = bs4.BeautifulSoup(res2.text,"html.parser")
#Idea 1
with open('url.txt', 'w', encoding='utf-8') as f_out:
f_out.write(soup2.prettify())
#Idea 2
text_file = open("Output.txt", "w")
text_file.write(soup2.getText())
text_file.close()
A problem of my "Idea 1" (for "Idea 2" I don't have this issue):
One example of the data that I am loosing (in both "Idea 1" and "Idea 2"):
For this file, I am loosing 3 big blocks of data; these blocks are in the middle of the file, and in the 2nd half of the original content;
python beautifulsoup
