OSB logging change logLevel using javaCallout (Apache NTLM authentication)
I have problem with properly implementing logging in NTLM authenitcation in OSB11g. My case looks like that:
Got javaCallout in OSB, which is responsible for invoking WS with NTLM authentication (using Apache implementation). I aslo want add some higher logging level to specific file. When I attaching log4j.properties:
log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, file
log4j.appender.file=org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.file.File=/logs/NTLM-logs.log
log4j.appender.file.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.file.layout.ConversionPattern=%5p [%c] %m%n
log4j.logger.org.apache.http=DEBUG
log4j.logger.org.apache.http.wire=DEBUG
log4j.logger.org.apache.http.impl.conn=DEBUG
log4j.logger.org.apache.http.impl.client=DEBUG
log4j.logger.org.apache.http.client=DEBUG
and when I invoking proxy, which using javaCallout, file /logs/NTLM-logs.log is creating but it doesn't have content (0 bytes). It is looks like OSB Engine have more important file responsible for loggingLevel for "org.apache.*".
Additionally when i just adding arguments to Domain starting script:
-Dorg.apache.commons.logging.Log=org.apache.commons.logging.impl.SimpleLog
-Dorg.apache.commons.logging.simplelog.showdatetime=true
-Dorg.apache.commons.logging.simplelog.log.org.apache.http=DEBUG
-Dorg.apache.commons.logging.simplelog.log.org.apache.http.wire=ERROR
I see results in server.out file. Any thoughts about how to use log4j from OSB javaCallout to change that org.apache logLevels and print in to specific file are appreciated.
