Plot shape variables based on Principal Components Analyses R

0

I would like to visually show the shape changes represented by the principal components in a PCA analysis.

Here is an example taken from a paper on leaf shape (Yoshioka et al. 2004) where the outline shape changes are represented by adding and subtracting from the mean of each principal component.

Does anyone know how to do this in R?
