Apache Large File Upload - Stalling

I am trying to figure out why large uploads are failing after exactly 20mins. We are using django/apache/mod_wsgi for the backend and I have already set

<IfModule reqtimeout_module>
RequestReadTimeout header=0
RequestReadTimeout body=0
</IfModule>

to force the timeout to be infinite. The Timeout setting is the default apache Timeout of 300 which should be overwritten by the reqtimeout_module, no?

I've looked through all the configs but can't figure out why the request just "stops" at 20 mins. It does not even return anything to Chrome. The timing tab in the network panel shows:

Stalled Request

Any idea why this request would just stop? Is this a browser issue?

Thanks so much for any pointer...

Cheers,

Phil
