Why does Jenkins pull in unspecified older dependencies

0

I am updating a project so that it only calls the most upto date versions of a library, then running it on Jenkins. However, the old dependencies get pulled in regardless of what version I set them to on my branch. How does one configure jenkins to select only the library versions stated in the branch found on stash ?
thanks
