Define Listeners for a GoogleMaps Fragment in the parent activity, good practise?

0

I have implemented an own Google Maps Fragment (there is SupportMapFragment but I want more flexibility).

I want to reuse the map for different purposes in the app. There are three different mapviews which should do different things when touching a point.

But to reduce duplication I want to reuse this fragment without hard coding the listeners

So I've defined an interface IMyAction which has to be implemented by the parent activity. When the user touches a point onMapClick is called and calls the listener defined in the parent activity.

@Override
public void onMapClick(LatLong latLong)
IMyAction a = (IMyAction) getContext().getActivity();
a.doSomeThing(latLong, ..moreargs..,...);

Is this a good practice to get a reusable map?
