How to integrate a jQuery Plugin (not on npm) in an Angular 5 application
I have written a jQuery plugin and hosted on a server. This plugin contains a min.js and .css file.
Note: This plugin is not available on npm.
I followed the below steps to integrate this plugin with my Angular 5 application:
npm install jquery
npm install -D @types/jquery
import * as $ from 'jquery'; (This is written in the component.ts file)
I added a reference to plugin min.js and the .css files to index.html.
On using in component.ts file --> $("#testdiv").pluginfunction(), I get this error:
pluginfunction is not defined.
