At client PC sql server not show in ODBC list
I have SQL server 2008 r2 installed in my windows server 2008 32 bit on a network and I want to make an odbc connection to this SQL server from other client PC on the network, but the problem that the SQL server doesn't show in the ODBC list.
Note : the client PC is pinging the server and the port 1433 is opened on the server

port 1433 open - do you mean in firewall? that's ok (and necessary), but SQL server itself also needs to be configured to allow remote connections. this is done using server options, and/or the "SQL Server Configuration Manager", see documentation

yes , I have open port 1433 and firewall off , also option checked allow remote connection but not work , can u give me a link demo video for it ? or can u help me with teamviewer ?

is it just that it does not appear in the ODBC dialog's list > sql server browser is needed for that, it has another port and another service on the sql server machine to run > see docs. without sql server browser service, you should still be able to type the name of the server in the servername box. does this also not work? which error rmessage(s)?

I have started the services sql server browser then The Error is Connection failed: SQLState: '28000' SQL Server Error : 18452 The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with windows authentication? @dlatikay
