Unable to see EC2 hosted MongoDB database in ODBC using “Connector for BI” on Windows 10

I have a mongodb database on AWS EC2 and I want to connect Power BI to it via ODBC. I installed "Connector for BI" on my local windows PC and provided it DRDL file but I can't see my database in the database drop-down in ODBC while creating DSN. Followed these steps, please help. Thanks a lot.



Step1: 



mongodrdl --host xx.xx.xx.xx:27017 --username xxx --password xxx --db dbname --collection collname --out xxx.drdl


Step2: 



mongosqld --schema xxx.drdl


Step3:



Create DSN and connect to 127.0.0.1 on port 3307



Problem: Unable to see my database hosted on EC2.



I suspect I am not using Mongosqld with the right parameters - maybe the database access credentials are missing but when I use the --mongo-uri with the URI, I get a message "--mongo-uri may not contain any authentication information".
