Reduce number of Route rerenders with React router
I am currently building a medium size webapp and today I checked the updates of my component tree – and I was kind of shocked about the large number of component re-renders I haven't expected. I don't want to post all of the problems there but maybe the solution for one of them might solve the other ones.
In my webapp I have the following code for a navigation link that should show if the visitor is currently one this page with the url. When I navigate through my webapp it is re-rendered every single time and not only when it's state changes. How can I fix this?
const LinkedItem = ( children, to, disabled = false ) => (
<Route path=to children=( match ) =>
if (match == null)
return (

);
else
return (

<Link className=`nav-link active $disabled ? "disabled" : ""` to=to>children (current)

);
/>
);
