Swift class invisible in another swift class when forward declared through objective c

0

I have a swift class:

@objc(ZBProfileManager)
class ProfileManager: NSObject

I used this swift class in the ZBPhotoManager objective c class which compiles fine:

@class ZBProfileManager;
...
@interface ZBPhotoManager: NSObject
...
-(id)initWithProfileManager:(ZBProfileManager*)profileManager;

Then I am trying to use the ZBPhotoManager's initWithProfileManager: initializer in another swift class:

let manager = ZBPhotoManager(profileManager: profileManager)

but I get the following error:

ERROR: Argument passed to call that takes no arguments (meaning it can’t see my initWithProfileManager: and figures the default init does not take arguments..)

for some reason it just won’t see the method initWithProfileManager: because of the ZBProfileManager. If I change the ZBProfileManager to UIViewController(just for troubleshooting), then there is no problem, so somehow the ZBProfileManager is the problem here.

somehow it just doesn’t work passing from swift > objc > swift..

any ideas?
