How to access a public static variable in my controller from Global.asax.cs? .Net MVC

0

I have my home controller and a variable that I want to access from the Global.asax.cs file

public class HomeController : Controller

public static List<Session> activeSessions = new List<Session>();

The problem is that I don't know how to access it. I can't find a HomeController object instance to make a reference to it.

    Short answer: You don't. Longer answer:This looks like a really terrible idea, why would you want to keep sessions in the controller?
