BJP Minority Morcha

Multi tool use BJP Minority Morcha is the minority wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJMM),[1][2] one of two major political parties in India.[3] Prominent party leaders who are members of the minority Morcha include Sikander Bakht, Abdul Alim Khan Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, M. J. Akbar, Arif Beg, Farooq Khan, Aslam Gurukkal and Asifa Khan.[4][5] In November 2011, the Minority Morcha asked the party leadership to drop its demand for a Uniform Civil Code, but it stood by the party's stand of opposing any reservation based on religious affiliation.[6] However, in October 2015, the Morcha endorsed the views of Union Law Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, who stated that the Uniform Civil Code was necessary.[7] In July 2012, a one-day workshop on "Welfare of Minorities through Good Governance" was held in New Delhi in which members and chairpersons of minority-related government organisations of BJP-ruled states participated. The workshop was inaugurated by the BJP president, who asked the participants to deliver through good governance and win the hearts of the community.[8][9]

Chute spillway of Llyn Brianne dam in Wales A spillway is a structure used to provide the controlled release of flows from a dam or levee into a downstream area, typically the riverbed of the dammed river itself. In the United Kingdom, they may be known as overflow channels . Spillways ensure that the water does not overflow and damage or destroy the dam. Floodgates and fuse plugs may be designed into spillways to regulate water flow and reservoir level. Such a spillway can be used to regulate downstream flows – by releasing water in small amounts before the reservoir is full, operators can prevent sudden large releases that would happen if the dam were overtopped. Other uses of the term "spillway" include bypasses of dams or outlets of channels used during high water, and outlet channels carved through natural dams such as moraines. Water normally flows over a spillway only during flood periods – when the reservoir cannot hold the excess of water entering the reservoir ove...
