I have to add a .png icon to an xcodeproject source without xcode. Can you please tell me the essentials by ~git diff of a new app never having icons to what xcode does when introducing icons to the project so that they would be presented as the app icon once installed?
I already have the pngs in the folder, the contents.json updated. I tried adding entries to the pbxproj's file references and build files section, but actually I'm thinking now that the pbxproj should not have those filenames directly? Even with them in the file references and build files section, my cloud build of the app succeeds but the default ios app icon is still being presented instead of my supplied .png file.
